Happy Belated to all the fathers out there. I saw on Facebook there were a lot of families getting together celebrating the day with their dads. My 3 grown kids were blessed to have a great dad for many years. He did love children and he was loved by them. I have always heard that children know when they are liked or loved. If it had been up to AG we would have had all of them still living at home with us. When Joe bought his first house, the one we are now in Derma, I remember AG telling Joe there wasn’t any sense in spending all that money he could stay home with us.

The Calhoun City Community Farmers Market is growing with vendors. I missed this past Saturday, but plan on making to the next one. There all kinds of things being sold at the market am sure you would find things you would like. I did the Saturday before. Not having a garden any longer I will be hoping to find some fresh tomatoes. I am ready to dig out my tomato pie recipe.
As of this writing, Sunday night, MS State baseball team just beat Texas 2 to 1 in their first World Series game in Omaha. Lot of bells will be ringing around the area celebrating their first win up there. Hopefully, the winning will continue for them.
