Spring Break programs set for Yancy Library in Bruce

Celebrate Spring Break at Jesse Yancy Memorial Library in Bruce. The fun starts with toddler storytime Monday, Mar. 10 from 10:20 a.m.- 10:40 a.m. We’ll have music, stories, and snacks. Storytime is for toddlers with an adult helper.
Later join us from 2-3 p.m. for a Family Art Program. We’ll be making collages from recycled items.
The library will provide the cardboard base for your project, glue, tape, 2 copies free of charge (if you would like to incorporate family photos), and a box of scrap materials for use by the group. All ages are invited.

Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Snacks will be served at the conclusion of the program. A list of extra items you can bring is located on the library’s Facebook page “Fans of the Jesse Yancy Memorial Library.”
The celebration continues Tuesday, Mar. 11 with a Movie Party from 1:30-3:15 p.m. Bring your drink, we’ll provide the popcorn.

Movie rated PG. This month’s movie: “The greatest inventor now works for his idol, but he’s forced to leave his post when he learns that his most infamous machine is still operational and is churning out menacing food-animal hybrids.”

Then stick around for a Book to Movie Party from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Bring your drink – we’ll provide the popcorn!

Movie rated PG-13. This month’s movie: “In the near future, a hostile alien race has attacked Earth.
