Area All Star Teams Excel In State Tournaments

calchick.jpgThe Cal Chicks 7-8-year-old girls’ softball team from Bruce swept the
State Tournament in Eupora last weekend to earn the championship. The Calhoun County Gator Girls 9-10-year-old girls’ softball team is
also advancing to the World Series after a fourth place finish at state. The Bruce Twisted Sisters 11-12-year-old all star softball team will also advance to the World Series in Southaven, July 24-28.

Trojans Earn Second At State Tournament

we’ve had,” Bruce Coach Sid Burt said. “We enjoyed participating in the
