Stephen Faddock of Calhoun City’s “Team Freak Show” guarantees a “tremendous scare” for anyone passing through the group’s haunted house in Sabougla.
“We have so many different things to see in this haunted house,” Faddock said. “We’ve had a lot that we had to lead out because it was just too much for them.”
The haunted house opens at 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 26 and on Nov. 1-2. All proceeds raised from the third annual event will go toward medical costs for Vada Reynolds of Houston – a 17-month-old girl who suffers from hydrocephalus, a dangerous build-up of fluid around the brain. Faddock said she also suffers from a hole in her heart and has already undergone numerous surgeries.
“We want to do all we can to help her,” Faddock said.
The group had 463 visitors to the haunted house on its opening night.
“We had an incredible crowd and they didn’t leave disappointed,” Faddock said. “We had many tell us this was the best haunted house they had ever seen.”
The house located at 39 CR 437 in Sabougla includes an insane asylum, a haunted cemetery, lots of characters from the most famous horror movies and too many surprises to count. Faddock said they have more than 40 actors making the haunted house come alive.
“If you want to be scared, we’re going to take care of that for you,” Faddock said.
Admission is $5. For more information call Faddock at (662) 414-6349.
