David Henry Stewart, Sr., 94, died Saturday, April 1, 2017, at his residence in Louisville, Ms. with family members present.  He was born March 4, 1923, in Derma.  He moved to Louisville in 1963 as partner with Eugene Robinson (Robinson Insurance Agency).  He was a Sunday School teacher for over 50 years and served in the US Air Force during WWII.Funeral services were  April 3, 2017, in the Nowell-Massey Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. William Gordon Logan, 90, went to his heavenly home Wednesday, Apr. 12, 2017, at Mississippi Veterans Home in Oxford. Born November 16, 1926, he was the son of Harvey and Daisey Coleman Logan. He was retired from Graeber Bros. Propane Gas, where he was district manager. He proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II, and was awarded the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign medal, WWII Victory medal, and Honorable Service Pin. He was a member of Grace Southern Baptist Church, serving as a deacon for over 50 years. He was a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, and the American Legion. [Read more...]
