Calhoun Countians awakened Friday morning to see bright sunshine and blue skies, but to hear another weekend weather forecast of heavy rains and potential strong winds.
A strong front is expected to move through Calhoun beginning around 3 p.m. Friday. The heavier activity will occur Saturday and Sunday when precipitation chances are 90% and above.
Some of the storms are expected to be “severe,” according to the National Weather Service. Calhoun County is currently under a “Flash Flood Watch” until 7 p.m. Sunday.
