The Vardaman Lady Rams improved to 3-0 in district play with an 80-50 home win over TCPS Tuesday night.
The game was never competitive with the Lady Rams, 8-8, opening a 22-5 lead in the first period. the stretched their lead to 43-13 at the half.
Mostly reserves played the remainder of the game.
Kaylee Haire finished as the top scorer for Vardaman with 11 points.
Deidre Rose added 10. Claire Galding led TCPS with 19.
The boys’ game was much more competitive, but the Rams came out on the losing end.
The game was tied at the half, but TCPS pulled away in the third period outscoring the Rams 16-10 en route to the 52-49 win.
Donta Walker led the Rams with 15 points. Dustin Sanford scored 13.
Devin Orr led TCPS with 17.
