She was a member of Bruce First Baptist Church, where she was active in WMU and was a former Sunday School teacher. She was a former Title I Coordinator for Calhoun County School District, and former member of Bruce Twentieth Century Club. |

She was a homemaker, member of First Baptist Church in Vardaman, widow of the late Raymond Gene Robertson, and member of Merry Hearts and WMU. She enjoyed her family, cooking, reading and gardening. |

Charles Brasher, 71, of Big Creek, died Thursday, July 29, 2010 at NMMC in Tupelo. He was born December 30, 1938 in Bruce, the son of R.B. and Elwyn Davis Brasher. He was production manager for Firestone and Med Lift, and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. He was former music director for Mt. Moriah Baptist and Westside Baptist Churches, and sang with Evangels Quartet a number of years. He served in the National Guard during the Cuban Crisis. He enjoyed singing and gardening. |
