Dr. Andy Reese, of Calhoun City, died Thursday night while on a camping trip at Grenada Lake.

Dr. Reese, 56, suffered a major heart-attack while at the Lake, according to friends. He was transported to Grenada Lake Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Dr. Reese is survived by his wife Jennifer Reese; a daughter, Melissa Reese DeVall of Big Creek; mother Alice Maxine Reese of Calhoun City; sisters Betty Lindsey of Cleveland, and Hilda Hemphill of Slate Springs; brother Hal Reese, Jr. of Calhoun City; and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Hal Reese Sr.

Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 21 from 5-8 p.m. at Pryor Funeral Home in Calhoun City. Funeral will be Sunday, Nov. 22 at 2 p.m.at First Baptist Church of Calhoun City. Burial will be at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Big Creek.
