| Car, Tractor Crash In Big Creek |

By LISA McNEECE A Monday afternoon wreck in Big Creek between a car and tractor left two women with only minor injuries.  The wreck happened after 5 p.m. on CR?308 near the intersection with CR 327.Lea Poindexter, of Coffeeville, was traveling west in a Honda Accord, when she topped the hill and collided with a tractor pulling a hay rake also going west. The tractor was driven by Sarah Rounsaville of Big Creek. Both women were taken to Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford where they were later treated and released. Calhoun Deputy Wayne Plunk said there were tractor parts all over the road. Rounsaville was driving an old John Deere 40 tractor, Plunk said. The tractor ended upside down. |
