Holzner, Howell win “Run For Your Life” 5K in Calhoun City

Run For Your Life 5K run/walk was Saturday in Calhoun City. With over 60 participants, the overall winners of the run were Madison Holzner, 14,  Pittsboro, and Thomas Howell, 39, Houston.

Overall female walker was Robin Hamilton, and male, Joey Byars.

Sponsors for the event were Cannon Motor Co., Buck’s One Stop, and Harris Heating and Cooling. Medals provided by Camp’s Bodyworks and Fitness. CCHS football team helped with traffic, and the water station was by Calhoun County Girls Scouts. All proceeds went to Relay For Life.
