‘City board updated on sewer project’s progress

The first half of the sewer project underway in Calhoun City is complete, according to Public Works Director Lee Burns, as reported to Mayor Amye Hill and the Board of Aldermen in last night’s meeting.  Determining a problem on Johnson Street, he is waiting to get the camera video to see what needs to be done. Burns also reported that seven water meters were put in Tuesday and the remainder will be in place by the end of the week.
