A National Day of Prayer celebration will be held on the Bruce Square Thursday, May 6 at noon.
Prayers will be offered for the community, families, churches, schools, military, government and its leaders.
Members from a variety of sectors will lead the celebration. Mayor Robert Edward Oakley will provide the welcome. The program will also feature musical performances.
“Everyone is invited, so please bring a lawn chair and join us for this prayer and singing,” Bro. Rex Wilburn said.
In case of rain, the program will be moved inside Bruce City Hall.
