The Calhoun City Rotary Club held its annual banquet this week during which they honored three Calhoun City citizens for their good works.
Amanda Goodson accepted the honor for her husband Perry from Mayor J.R. Denton.
Longtime city clerk Faye Spratlin, Calhoun City Public Works Director Perry Goodson, and businessman Michael Joe Cannon were each awarded Rotary’s highest honor – a Paul Harris Fellow.
The presentations were made by Mayor J.R. Denton and John Burt.
The club also elected a new slate of officers for 2012:
