The Calhoun Economic Development Association (CEDA) will host an “Employer Resource Meeting” with federal and state agencies Thursday, March 21 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Pittsboro.
The agencies will make five to 10 minute presentations and briefly describe their programs to the attending business leaders. Individual meetings can also be scheduled for businesses seeking more information.
“The focus of the meeting will be on assistance to existing businesses, but potential employers are also encouraged to attend,” said CEDA Director Sheila Freely. “My goal is to have current employers and county leaders learn what benefits each agency has to offer.”
There is no cost to attend this meeting, but those interested are asked to RSVP. Lunch will be served.
