Nathan Hugh Smith, 92, of Myrtle, died Saturday, April 6, 2013 at his residence. He was born October 15, 1920, in Chickasaw County to Hugh Clifton Smith and Dot Allen Smith. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army. He was a retired employee of the Union?County Schools, Mississippi Highway Department and the Myrtle Baptist Church, where he was a member.

She was born April 21, 1950 in Greenwood, the daughter of Dennis Gordin Jr., and Ina McLemore Gordin. She was a retired RN of Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, and was a member of Derma Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Oliver Funeral Home Chapel in Eupora with burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Webster County. Rev. Sam Edwards, Rev. Don Boren, and Rev. Jerrod Whittington will officiated. Visitation is Friday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

She was a homemaker, a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church & a member of Tri Community Homemakers Club.

James Carmon Mosley, 88, of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at his residence. He was a retired from Bowater as a machine shop foreman. He was a charter member of Westmore Church of God. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served during World War II and fought in battles in Germany. He was an avid carpenter.
