The Calhoun Academy Lady Cougars can clinch the top seed entering the division tournament with a win at home Friday night against Kemper.
The Lady Cougars are 9-2 in division play after a 43-36 victory over Immanuel earlier this week.
Britteny Sutherland Calhoun with 15 points in the game. Kelci McCormick and Deana Reynolds scored nine each. Torri Descateaux added six, Allie Norman two and Misty Pryor one.
Both junior high teams were defeated by Immanuel. The boys lost 52-22. Hunter Harmon led with eight points, followed by Danny Norman with six, Warner Jones three, Steven Jackson and Cameron Bryant two, and Daniel Odom one.
The girls lost 35-28. Caly Denton and Miranda McCormick scored 10 each, followed by Anna Grace Turner with five, Laken Langston two and Karlie Wade one.
In previous action against Carroll Academy, the Lady Cougars were defeated 40-37 on a last second shot. Norman led with nine, McCormick, Sutherland and Reynolds each scored eight. Parker Shea Hardin added four.
The junior high girls won 36-32. Miranda McCormick led with 12. Turner scored nine, Mika Jones seven, Denton and Cobie Logan four each.
The boys lost 60-35. Harmon led with 13 followed by Jones 10, Norman nine, Colt Robertson two and Odom one.
The boys were victorious over Faith Christian 48-40.
Harmon scored 22. Norman scored nine, followed by Jones seven, Jackson four, Zack Kimbrough, Odom, and Sam Moore two each.
