Jimmy Lavon Zinn, 60, of Carrollton, Tx., died May 3, 2012 at his home. He was born December 3, 1951 in Bruce, the son of Jack Lavon and Erma Raye Reasons Zinn. He was a Baptist, served in the MS National Guard four years, was a graduate of Clarksdale High School class of 1969, attended Northwest MS Community and the University of Mississippi, and was an employee of Buzi Paper Distributing Co.
Annie Lee Brown, 85, of Bruce, died May 6, 2012 at Delta Regional Medical Center in Greenville. She was born July 10, 1926 in Calhoun County, the daughter of Eli and Inez Spencer Lafayette. She was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist church, a fellow seamstress at Glenn Slacks Garment Co., and a homemaker.
Nettie Mae Edwards, 92, of Bruce, died May 6, 2012 at Calhoun Health Services nursing home in Calhoun City. She was born August 1, 1919 in Calhoun County. She was a homemaker and member of Church of God of Prophecy.
