The 29th annual A.D. Goodman Scholarship banquet will be Saturday, Nov. 24, at 7 p.m. at the St. Luke Masonic Lodge in Bruce.
Alexis Harper
The 2012 Scholarship recipient is Alexis Cierra Harper. She is a graduate of Bruce High School, currently attending Mississippi University for Women, pursuing a nursing degree. She is the daughter of Lonnie and Cora Harper.
The guest speaker for this year’s event is Dr. Felecia Baskin Jones PT, DPT.
Dr. Jones is a Physical Therapist in Memphis. She is the daughter of Reginald and Bessie Baskin.
Margaret Mays, a retired Bruce High School teacher will also be honored at this year’s banquet.
