Frances H. Jackson, 76, of Blue Springs, died August 31, 2012 at Darlington Oaks Hospice House. She was born April 11, 1936 in Verona, the daughter of Joe Samuel Hollis and Mildred Lucille Wells Hollis. She was a retired factory worker of Wondred Bread Company in Memphis after 30 years. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, the NRA, and Heritage Foundation. She love gardening, having fun and her family and neighbors.

Although it’s been three months since those wonderful, scorching days on the turf at Smith Wills Stadium in Jackson, the memories are still vividly fresh.
The wild haircuts, the clutch base hits, the celebration after the Bruce Trojan baseball team won the state championship… there were so many moments from the magical run that are truly unforgettable.
