Mildred Crutchfield Glaze, 90, of Calhoun City, died Sunday, Oct. 16, 2011 at Calhoun Health Services Nursing Home. She was born November 11, 1920 in Calhoun County, the daughter of Ed and Louvinia Hutchings Crutchfield. She was a retired data entry clerk, and member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Grenada, and Rebecca’s (Moose Lodge).

Ellen Hyde Vire, age 53, died Tuesday, Oct. 11, 2011 in Bruce. A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 14 in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley. Ellen was born December 19, 1958 in Water Valley, to the late Dalton Lake Hyde and Ruth Williams Hyde of Water Valley. She enjoyed fishing and taking care of her dogs, and loved her family and grandchildren. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Water Valley.

Lenora Baker James, 88, of Bruce, died October 11, 2011 at Bruce Community Living Center. She was born March 3, 1923 in?Big Creek, the daughter of J.S. Baker Sr. and Rathel Crensaw Baker. She was a retired L.P.N., was employed by Bruce Hospital, Bruce Community Living Center, Dr. Crocker and Dr. Harrison. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church.
